Our recommendations must remain useful before they become profitable

We select products for their suitability, the quality of the available information and their trade-offs — never for potential remuneration.

Balanced scales illustrating editorial independence
Current position: some retailer links now earn commission. They are labelled “Paid link” near the relevant button. Any commission is paid at no additional cost to the user.

01 · Editorial and commercial content

Selection comes before the retailer link

We begin by determining whether a product genuinely meets a need. Its assessment, strengths and trade-offs are established before we look for an affiliate programme.

A product may therefore be recommended even when no paid link is available. Conversely, the existence of a commission is never enough for a product to enter a selection.

02 · Affiliate links

What a paid link means

Some retailer links may allow Lureox to receive a commission if a user makes a purchase after clicking. Every relevant link is clearly identified near the button or offer.

The exact terms depend on the retailer’s programme, so we do not publish a generic commission rate.

03 · Prices, offers and availability

The retailer remains the authority at the time of purchase

Lureox displays an observed price and its verification date when reliable information is available. We do not have permanent visibility of retailer stock, and a product may become unavailable, particularly during periods of high demand.

Prices, promotions, lead times, fees, and delivery and return terms may change. Information shown on the retailer’s website at the time of your visit always takes precedence.

04 · Ranking and personalisation

Results can vary according to your needs

The Lureox engine considers the criteria entered by the user, including budget, intended use and transport constraints. Different needs can therefore lead to different recommendations.

Potential remuneration changes neither a product’s admission to the Lureox Standard, its position in the results nor the exclusion criteria applied.

05 · Sources and level of evidence

We distinguish facts, analysis and tests

We prioritise manufacturers, official documentation, warranty terms and rules published by the relevant organisations. Recognised independent sources may supplement the analysis.

Manufacturer information is not presented as a Lureox test. When Lureox has not physically tested a product, its page says so.

06 · Updates and corrections

A recommendation can change

Products, specifications and commercial terms change. We update pages when we identify a significant change or when someone reports an error.

You can send a correction to contact@lureox.com. We verify it before changing the content.

07 · Scope of selections

Our comparisons do not claim to cover the entire market

Lureox deliberately selects a limited number of products. An omitted product is not necessarily a poor one: we may not yet have sufficiently robust information, it may not address a distinct need or we may not yet have reviewed it.
